Editorial Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This page explains how Zapyo content gets made: blog posts, the homepage and product materials. Short, honest, and open to scrutiny.

Where the knowledge comes from

Our texts draw on experience working with small service businesses: installers, paving contractors, electricians, plumbers, physiotherapists and event planners. First-person practitioner statements ("I see with clients that...") belong only to the author, Tomasz Chmielewski.

External facts

Competitor pricing, free plan limits and other facts from outside Zapyo carry a link to the source and a verification date next to the text. Internally we keep a registry of these facts with a review deadline, about 30 days out. After that date we go back and check again.

Examples and numbers

An example written as a customer story, but built from recurring situations, is marked plainly as a model example. Observations from client work are called heuristics, not research. We do not present invented numbers as market data.

Updates

Texts come back for review. When something changes we add an "updated" date next to the text.

Mistakes

Found an error? Write to hello@zapyo.app. We fix it once reported.

AI in our work

We say this openly, because we use AI tools every day and consider ourselves early practitioners. Some texts are written in collaboration with AI. A human picks the topics, checks the facts, edits, and answers for every sentence published here. The rules on this page apply no matter who held the keyboard: sources next to external facts, model examples labeled as such, corrections once reported.
